Speaking with journalists during the distribution, the founder of the initiative, Bolaji Omotayo Daramola, emphasized the group’s commitment to improving access to quality education at the grassroots.
“This is a project dear to my heart. We are keen on investing in primary education. It is unfortunate that free education is still not a reality at this level. While we continue to lament the government’s anti-people policies, we must also take responsibility and do our part to ease the burden on parents and pupils,” Daramola said.
Expressing his appreciation, the Headmaster of Community Primary School, Ago Alaye, thanked the organization for selecting the school as a beneficiary. He lauded the initiative’s impact on the community and offered prayers for the continued success of Daramola and his team.
This intervention is the latest in a series of community-driven projects powered by the BOD Community Development Initiative. Previous efforts by Bolaji Omotayo Daramola have included providing a borehole to end water scarcity in Ondo communities, distributing farm produce to support the Hausa community in Ondo East, and sponsoring free holiday transportation for Muslim residents during Eid festivals.
These sustained initiatives highlight Daramola’s vision for social welfare, empowerment, and meaningful educational access in underserved areas.
