Ibikunle Amosun, a former Governor of Ogun State has expressed a strong support for the re-election bid of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming general election.
The former governor made this affirmation at Ward 6, Itoko, Abeokuta, Ogun State during the APC presidential primary election.
“Well, you know today is very special. Today is for the President and we all must come out to show and demonstrate that yes, we are for the President, we are for APC, and that’s why I am here.
“You know we have done the one for the governor, so all of us are in sync, we have all taken that position. So, it is just to reaffirm what we have done and that is what happened. Today, all of us in Nigeria, not just this place, every ward in Nigeria is doing this and we have to come here to participate and do our bit too.
“I am happy with our people. You can see they are very excited and eager to be part of what is going on. I am satisfied with the process and you could see how the people came out in their numbers. See the crowd on ground; they have come to show support for our President.
“We are orderly and that is what it should be. All of us are speaking with one voice, no dissension. Everybody has agreed that yes, we want our President to return.
