‎ADC PICKS US-BASED POLITICIAN FOR ABIA REP POSITION 

The African Democratic Congress has selected Emeka Bahadur as it’s candidate for the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election.

‎The U.S based politician was picked through a motion for the adoption of a voice vote moved by Chinweikpe Joseph and seconded by Sunny Nwagboo in a consensus arrangement.

‎Bahadur thanked party leaders, women, youths and stakeholders for their support in his emergence as the candidate of the party for the reps seat.

‎“If given the opportunity to represent Ikwuano/Umuahia at the National Assembly, I will make the constituency and the entire state proud through purposeful, people-oriented representation.

‎“What I have seen today makes me proud of the men, women, and youths who came out in their numbers to support this movement,” he told cheering supporters.
