The African Democratic Congress has selected Emeka Bahadur as it’s candidate for the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election.
The U.S based politician was picked through a motion for the adoption of a voice vote moved by Chinweikpe Joseph and seconded by Sunny Nwagboo in a consensus arrangement.
Bahadur thanked party leaders, women, youths and stakeholders for their support in his emergence as the candidate of the party for the reps seat.
“If given the opportunity to represent Ikwuano/Umuahia at the National Assembly, I will make the constituency and the entire state proud through purposeful, people-oriented representation.
“What I have seen today makes me proud of the men, women, and youths who came out in their numbers to support this movement,” he told cheering supporters.
