ABDUCTED KWARA PRINCE RELEASED AFTER RANSOM PAYMENT

Olaolu Olanipekun, a serving corp member and the son of Oba Simeon Olanipekun, the Oniwo of Afin who was reportedly kidnapped by assailants in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State has been released after a payment was made to his abducted in the sum of 20 Million Naira.

‎The victim was released even as his father and other abductees remain with kidnappers in an unknown location.

‎‎ThisThis revelation was made by a close family source who made it known that the price was freed after a long and tidious negotiation process that lasted for days.

‎“It is true the prince was released on Monday morning after we paid N20m. They dropped him at a herders’ settlement around Oreke in Ifelodun Local Government Area. From there, he was taken to the military base in Oreke, where they contacted us,”

‎It was also revealed that the released Prince was immediately taken to an hospital for immediate medical attention even as the monarch remains with the kidnappers who has placed a demand of 15 Million ransom on his release.
