Abba Yusuf, the Executive Governor of Kano State has expressed deep sorrow and profound condolences at the demise of Prof Kabiru Dandago, a former commissioner for Finance and a distinguished scholar.
Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa, the governor’s spokesperson conveyed the governor’s condolence through an official statement issue in Kano on Wednesday.
In the statement, the governor fondly remembered the late professor as a devoted public servant and a talented scholar, whose impactful contributions to education and governance have left an enduring legacy in Kano State.
“The death of Prof Dandago is a huge loss to Kano State. We have lost a valuable son whose experience and wisdom greatly enriched public service and the academic community,” the governor was quoted as saying.
While he described the demise as an irreparable loss, the governor condoled with the family of the deceased, the academic community, and the people of Kano State.
