‎FCC COMMISSIONER ENDORSES OTTI

by Adeyinka Adetan

Dr Victor Ikeji, the recently appointed Commissioner of the Federal Character Commission representing Abia State has reaffirmed his support to the administration of Governor Alli Otti on Tuesday.

‎Ikeji made the commitment as he presented his letter of appointment to the governor during a formal visit to the Abia State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.

‎During the visit, Ikeji expressed gratitude to the governor for the trust placed in him, characterizing Otti as a leader whose vision and governance, centered on the welfare of the people, are consistently transforming public service in Abia State.

‎“Without equivocation or exaggeration, this appointment would not have been possible without Governor Alex Otti. He chose merit over convenience, principle over politics, and service over sentiment.

‎“In nominating me, His Excellency did not merely recommend a name — he affirmed a belief in character, capacity, and commitment to national service,” Ikeji said.

‎“I accept this national responsibility with a heart full of gratitude and a conscience anchored in service. My commitment is to deploy this opportunity solely in the service of Nigeria and in honour of the trust reposed in me by my Governor,” he said.
