The lecture will be delivered by Prof. Taiwo Oyedele, Chairman of the Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee, and chaired by Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN, with Mrs. Olu Verheijen, Special Adviser to the President on Energy, also speaking.

Activities will begin with a World Press Conference on 29 January 2026, followed by a Jumat Service on 30 January and a Thanksgiving Service on 1 February. On the anniversary day, 3 February 2026, Governor Aiyedatiwa will deliver a State Broadcast, after which a State Carnival featuring cultural displays and performances will be held at the Ondo State Sports Stadium.

The celebrations will conclude with a Gala and Award Night at The Dome, Akure, where distinguished sons and daughters of the state will be honoured.
