$30 billion External Loan: Senate rejects Pres. Buhari’s request

The senate at its plenary today, Tuesday 1st November 2016, rejected the request of President Buhari to seek for a $30 billion external loan.

Recall that President Buhari last week forwarded a letter to members of the National Assembly, requesting for approval for external borrowing plan of $29.960 billion to execute key infrastructural projects across the country between 2016 and 2018.
