The pioneer leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, known as APC Aborigines, have thrown their weight behind Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa as their favored candidate for the party’s gubernatorial primary and the November election.
This endorsement, announced during a meeting led by former ambassador Sola Iji in Akure, highlights Aiyedatiwa’s selection after a rigorous assessment process that included criteria such as popularity, financial capability, and integrity.
Governor Aiyedatiwa, expressing gratitude for the endorsement, emphasized the importance of continuity in upholding the legacy of former Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, aligning with the “Renewed Hope” agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
