Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to prioritizing the welfare of civil servants in Ondo State during an interactive session with the state’s top civil service officials.
Acknowledging the vital role played by the Head of Service, Permanent Secretaries, and Accounting Officers, the Governor expressed gratitude for their unwavering support.
Aiyedatiwa emphasized the crucial responsibility of Accounting Officers in managing human and material resources within their MDAs. He announced the approval for the payment of January 2017 outstanding salary arrears and the continuation of palliative transport for public servants.
The Governor pledged ongoing motivation for workers, promising the appointment of new Permanent Secretaries based on merit.
The Head of Service, Pastor Kayode Ogundele, commended the Governor for his dedication to the workforce, pledging the civil service’s support and loyalty to the new administration.
