It was a chaotic day in Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (AAUA) Ondo state today where it was reported that a 200 level economics student of the institution met his untimely death as a result of an accident that occurred yesterday.
Though he was involved in the accident yesterday and was rushed to the hospital but was later confirmed dead today. The students who were said to be writing their first semester examinations responded with a wild protest claiming that the death of their fellow student was due to recklessness on the part of an Okada rider, academic activities has subsequently been put on hold since d incidence. According to reports reaching EkimogunMirror the protest was a violent one with school properties destroyed.
However, reports had it that the Student Union President of the school who sent his condolences to the bereaved family said that normalcy has returned to the school environ and that academic duties would continue in earnest.
