‎SHOOTING RANGE EXERCISE BEGINS ON TUESDAY– GOMBE POLICE 

A two-day routine shooting range exercise scheduled for April 14 and 15, 2026 would be carried out by the Nigerian Police Force, Gombe State Command.

‎Buhari Abdullahi, the State Police Public Relations Officer in an official statement released on Sunday noted that the exercise will be conducted at the Gombe Military Shooting Range in Liji between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

‎“The general public is hereby informed that a routine range exercise will be conducted by personnel of the Gombe State Police Command on Tuesday, 14th and Wednesday, 15th April 2026 from 06:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily at the Gombe Military Shooting Range, Liji.

‎“Members of the public are advised not to panic at the sound of gunshots during the stated period.

‎“Residents and commuters should avoid unnecessary movement or trespassing around the designated range area. Parents and guardians are also advised to caution their children and wards accordingly.

‎“Kindly adhere to all instructions from security personnel deployed around the area. The cooperation and understanding of the public are highly appreciated as we continue to work towards ensuring public safety and security.
