Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, received overwhelming support from All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains in Ondo West as they declared their allegiance during a visit to the Government House in Akure.
The delegation, which included 30 party leaders led by Hon. Biola Makinde, emphasized their support for the new administration and conveyed the needs of Ondo Kingdom to the Governor.
Recognizing Ondo West as the state’s second-largest constituency, Makinde highlighted the collaborative efforts that have consistently secured election victories in the region.
They commended the Governor for including in the 2024 budget the construction of a new bypass road to link Itanla to Ondo/Ore Road through Barracks/Ayeyemi.
The party leaders affirmed their unwavering support, promising to work collectively to fulfill the governor’s mandate.
In response, Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed gratitude for the support, assured reciprocation, and pledged political patronage and infrastructural development for Ondo West.
