Ondo To Procure Vehicles, Gadgets For Security Agencies

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has revealed plans to procure vehicles and gadgets for security agencies in a bid to enhance the safety of lives and properties.

Following a meeting with top security officials, including the Assistant Inspector General of Police and the State Commander of Amotekun, the governor emphasized the critical need to strengthen the security architecture within the state.

The purchase of operational vehicles aims to address mobility challenges hindering effective policing. Governor Aiyedatiwa highlighted his commitment to providing necessary tools and resources for security agencies, while also mentioning the distribution of vehicles to Permanent Secretaries in previous months.

In addition to security measures, the governor reiterated his dedication to citizens’ welfare by implementing initiatives to mitigate the impact of economic challenges, such as providing palliatives and shuttle buses to civil servants and students.

Furthermore, demonstrating support for the legislative arm, the Governor presented official vehicles to the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji, and Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Abayomi Akinruntan
stressing the importance of collaboration among stakeholders for overall state development.
