ONDO REP MEMBER DISTRIBUTES 100,000 COCOA SEEDLING TO CONSTITUENTS

Hon. Timehin Adelegbe, a member of the Federal House of Representatives has distributed 100,000 cocoa seedlings to his constituents.

 

The two-term federal lawmaker representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency of the state expressed his long-standing commitment to development of his constituency through agriculture.

 

In an interaction with journalists in Akure, the state capital, on Monday, Adelegbe said, “I have done a lot for my people, I distributed 100,000 improved cocoa seedlings to the farmers in my constituency to boost agriculture and food production in the constituency.

 

“Also, my commitment to infrastructural developments, poverty alleviation, skills acquisition, mega empowerment programmes, sports development, educational support through bursary awards to students, construction of a block of classrooms, renovation of schools, financial aid to market women and men can be attested to by the good people of Owo and Ose.”

 

While commenting on the issue of insecurity in the federal constituency, Adelegbe made it known that he has provided logistics for the protection of lives and properties as a way of supporting the vigilante group in his constituency.

 

“I am a victim of insecurity, having had my younger brother kidnapped a long time ago and we are yet to see him till now.

 

“So, we, sons and daughters of Okeluse (in Ose LG), established a vigilante group and it is adjudged the best in Ondo State.
