Ondo People want a change in government- Isaac Kekemeke

Mr Isaac Kekemeke, the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) while speaking with Punch believed that the incumbency factor will not work for the PDP in the forthcoming gubernatorial election as the people of the state are relatively tired of the Mimiko’s led administration.

He said “incumbency will not work for the PDP this time around because the people are fed up. They want a change in government. If the PDP plans to use state incumbency, we in the APC will use national incumbency to our advantage because we control the Federal Government. A majority of Ondo indigenes didn’t want a second term for Mimiko”.

In a counter response the Ondo State Commissioner for Information, Mr Kayode AKinmade said the people of Ondo State will resist any Federal Government might as opposed to a free and fair election and also made reference to incidence that led to the crisis of 1983.
