Ondo OAPs win at 6th Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards

The Grand Ballroom of Barcelona Hotel, Abuja was filled to capacity as broadcasters from South-West, South-East and Lagos converged for the 6th edition of the Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards on Saturday, February 27, 2015.

The event hosted by Isaac and Nneka Moses had the Honorable Minister for Communication as the Chairman of the occasion. Olusesan Ekisola and Mani Onumonu were inducted into the Nigerian Broadcaster Hall of Fame.

Media houses and OAPs from Ondo State got nominations in various categories and two OAPs from the state were adjudged the best in their category. Orange FM’s Adeolu Gboyega won the Best Indigenous Presenter (Male) in Indigenous Presenters Categories and Breez FM’s Oludolapo Adewale was named the Outstanding Radio Program Presenter (Morning Ride) in the South-West Radio Presenters Category.
