Ondo House Of Assembly condemns the fire outbreak at the Exco-Chambers

Ondo State House of Assembly, has sympathised with Governor Olusegun Mimiko over the fire incidence which affected part of the waiting room of the state Exco-chambers.

The House condemned the incidence which was attributed to power surge during its plenary yesterday. The house noted that it could possibly have happened as a result of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company’s inability to determine the actual percentage of voltage to allocate to consumers.

The House commended Fire Services Department for promptly swinging into action and stressed the need to investigate the source of the fire outbreak to ascertain whether there is any case of sabotage

The House also stressed the need for the power energy to be more careful in the discharge of their duties knowing full well that any mishap could take its toll on lives and property.
