ODIEC screens Vice Chairmanship candidates

The Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) has completed the screening exercise for the Vice Chairmanship candidates of the 15 political parties in the forthcoming April 23 local government elections in Ondo state.

The ODIEC Chairman, Prof. Olugbenga Ige, while speaking with journalists on the screening exercise, disclosed that a total of 27 Vice Chairmanship candidates across the political parties contesting in the election have been screened. The Chairman added that “All the candidates cooperated and answered our questions very well. They were enthusiastic and serious about the elections”.

The screening exercise was to scrutinize the candidates’ credentials and pose questions regarding their programmes for the people.
