Mimiko Commissions 27.5 km Road In Irele

Governor Olusegun Mimiko today commissioned the 27.5 kilometre Ajagba-Iyansan road in Irele Local Government area of the state.

In a statement released on Wednesday by the Commissioner of Information, Kayode Akinmade, the Ajagba-Iyansan road is one of the over 1300km of roads constructed by Governor Mimiko since assumption of office in 2009. The Commissioner also added that the administration increased the number of dual roads in the state from just 2 to 8.

Akinmade added that the feat is the present government determination to make life easier for residents of the area as the newly constructed road will ease transportation and another confirmation of government’s development focus.
