Jimoh Ibrahim emerges Winner as INEC boycotts sheriff’s PDP Faction Primary

The Alimodu Sheriff’s faction of the PDP in Ondo state held its primary on Monday in Ibadan, Oyo State capital. The primary was however not attended by any representative of INEC.

An Ondo State High Court Judgment had earlier restrained the Sheriff’s faction from holding the parallel primary. The presiding judge, Justice Omolara Adejumo in her ruling said no PDP’s faction should conduct any primary aside the one that had been conducted by the Clement Faboyede-led State Congress, and that Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim, Sola Ebiseni, Bamiduro Dada and Niran Sule should not to parade themselves as the aspirants for such parallel primary.

The Ibadan however produced Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim as the faction’s flag bearer
