Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa has addressed APC stakeholders of all the 18 local governments in an interactive session, emphasizing unity and peace ahead of the upcoming governorship election.
In his inaugural meeting with party leaders since assuming office, the Governor expressed gratitude for their support and urged all factions to unite for the progress of the APC and the state.
Aiyedatiwa dismissed past conflicts as mere politics and stressed the importance of a cohesive party. He acknowledged concerns from local party officers and pledged recognition for their roles.
Additionally, the Governor assured a smooth party structure, regular engagement, and peaceful conduct for the forthcoming primary and governorship elections, while also praising late Governor Akeredolu and expressing gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his interest in Ondo State’s peace and development.
