EX SGF, BOSS MUSTAPHA DENIES JOINING ADC

Boss Mustapha, a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation has labelled as false a report claiming that he has left the All Progressives Congress and moved to the opposition coalition, African Democratic Congress.

According to a statement released on Sunday, he tagged the report as fake news and also emphasized that he has not been engaged in discussion with members of the opposition or their coalition partners.

“My attention has been drawn to a news story in circulation associating me with the opposition alliance and their choice of the ADC as their political party.

“I want the general public to know that this is fake news. I am not in any opposition alliance, and I am not in any discussion with those who are involved,” the statement read in parts.

Boss Mustapha explained that as a founding member of the APC, he cannot simply move away from the party he helped midwife alongside other individuals.

The former SGF said while the APC, like any political organisation, has its challenges, the solution is to work from within rather than defect to another platform.

He implored the members of the public to see any such report as misleading and disregard same in its entirety.
