Dr (Mrs) Yetunde Akorede, one of the senior lecturers in the Department of English, Adeyemi College of Education premiered her new movie titled “Watered Link” on Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th, of December, 2015.
The event which took place at Olusegun Obasanjo Auditorium, Adeyemi College of Education brought together many dignitaries and students. People who were present at the movie premiere include the Provost, Prof. Olukoya Ogen, the Dean of the School of Languages, Dr Ojo, among others.
The movie was directed by Mr Gbenga Dare, who is also a lecturer in the department of English and starred 2014/2015 set of Students from the Department of English, as well lecturers from the department.

Mama(Dr. Akorede) as she is fondly called, while speaking with EkimogunMirror about the movie said “Watered Link is an appeal to people to go back to their roots, they cannot afford to be like the Americans who have forgotten their roots…..It is an appeal plot not to let the strong family bond break”
