Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate has submitted an official petition against Senate President Godswill Akpabio accusing him of sexual harassment on Wednesday.
Citing Order 40 of the Senate Rules, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan explained that she has previously made the allegation against Akpabio in an interview aired on Arise TV and has now decided to present same as a petition officially on the floor of the senate.
On the basis of her remarks, Senator Godswill Akpabio directed Senator Natasha to proceed with the submission, which she did.
