BREAKING: PROTESTERS SET POLICE STATION ABLAZE IN ONDO

It has been reported that angry youths have set a police station ablaze in Ifon Division. The police station is located in the headquarters of Ose local government of Ondo state following the death of a boy in the police station allegedly during torture.

 

According to an unidentified source, the youths carried out this action after it was learnt that the boy had died and his friend is in a coma at the hospital.

 

Information has it that another building within the precinct was also set ablaze during the imbroglio.

 

In a bid to forestall further tension, the commissioner of police in the state, Mr Wilfred Afolabi has departed Akure for Ifon to prevent further violence and restore order.
