The Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Jumoke Akindele and the Deputy have been impeached by 18 lawmakers. The lawmakers carried out the impeachment process at one of the members’ quarters this evening. They (18 lawmakers) have elected Hon. Iroju Ogundeji from Odigbo Local Government as the new speaker and Hon. Ayo Arowele as deputy speaker.
