BOD launches scheme to support Muslim Women in Ondo Kingdom

Bolaji Omotayo Daramola recently launched a Muslim Women Support Scheme targeted at providing financial support to Muslim Women. This scheme is one of the initiatives to immortalize BOD’s maternal grandmother, Alhaja Awantu Daramola (Former Iya Adini of Ondo Central Mosque)

In the first set of the support scheme, BOD has extended financial support to Muslim women in Ondo East Local Government Area to help sustain and grow their businesses amid ongoing economic challenges.

The Alhaja Awanatu Daramola Muslim Women Suppport Scheme, provides direct cash grants aimed at strengthening small-scale enterprises and ensuring their resilience in tough economic times.

The beneficiaries, who primarily run small businesses, expressed gratitude for the support, noting that the funds will help them restock, expand, or stabilize their ventures despite the rising cost of living.

This timely intervention has been widely praised as a thoughtful and impactful effort to uplift women entrepreneurs at the grassroots level.
