BOD Honors Grandparents With a Special Fidau Prayers. 

The Daramola family recently honored their ancestors, Alhaji Amzat Daramola and Alhaja Awanutu Daramola, with special Fidau prayers at their family residence in Iparuku.

The Chief Imam of Ondo Kingdom, Alhaji Bashir Alimi, led a group of Imams and clerics in the prayers. Alhaji Alimi praised the late Alhaji Amzat Daramola for his significant contributions to the Muslim community, particularly his support in providing wood supplies during the construction of the Oke Otunba Central Mosque. He also reflected on Alhaji Amzat’s life, describing him as a devoted lover of Islam and a man who deeply cared for the community.

The sermon was delivered by the respected Sheikh Abdul Rafiu Ajiboye Lagbaji, who urged the attendees to live lives worthy of emulation.

The event concluded with heartfelt prayers from those in attendance, reflecting on the legacy of Alhaji Amzat and Alhaja Awanutu, who were widely admired for their kindness, faith, and community contributions.

In his closing remarks, Bolaji Omotayo Daramola (BOD), speaking on behalf of the family, expressed gratitude to the Chief Imam, the Imams, clerics, as well as family and friends who attended, thanking them for their prayers and support during this period of remembrance.
