The Department of State Services has issues yet another public statement with regards to another dismissed officer of the service currently defrauding unsuspecting member of the public by impersonating the agency.
The DSS made this disclosure via its official X handle on Sunday. The suspected impersonation is identified as Victor Onyedikachi Godwin. The suspect is accused of engaging in fraudulent activities with the name of the agency.
“The Department of State Services (DSS) hereby alerts members of the public of the activities of one Victor Onyedikachi Godwin, a dismissed staff.
“He is reportedly engaging in unscrupulous activities, including using the name of the Service to defraud unsuspecting members of the public,” the DSS said.
The DSS is therefore by the notice calling on members of the public to desist from dealing with this individual, explaining that the public should communicate with the agency through verified channels.
