The All Progressives Congress (APC), United States of America Chapter, has thrown its weight behind Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, urging the residents to rally behind him as he continues the developmental strides initiated with former Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
In a statement issued in Washington, DC, USA, signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Ismaila Maigyara and the National Chairman, Professor Adesegun Labinjo, the APC-USA expressed satisfaction with the performance and the efforts made so far by Governor Aiyedatiwa to move Ondo State forward.
The APC-USA lauded Governor Aiyedatiwa as a seasoned leader, citing his experience as the Deputy Governor during Akeredolu’s tenure. They expressed confidence in his capabilities, endorsing him as the best APC candidate for the upcoming gubernatorial election.
They also commended the nomination of Dr. Olajide Adelami as Deputy Governor and the appointment of Mr. Tayo Oluwatuyi as Secretary to the State Government. According to the APC-USA, these selections showcase Governor Aiyedatiwa’s respect for his late predecessor and the people of Owo town.
They called on APC members in the State to close ranks and support Gov Aiyedatiwa so that he can deliver victory to the party in the coming governorship election.
The chapter called for unity among APC members in Ondo State and pledged its support, offering the expertise and talents of its members to aid in the administration’s success for the accelerated development of Ondo State.
