AFRICA CREATIVE MARKET SEEKS EMPOWERMENT FOR LOCAL TALENT

Africa Creative Market is returning for its fourth edition, with a bold agenda to connect African creatives to global opportunities, the organiser said on Tuesday.

Scheduled for September 16 to 19, 2025, at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos, this year’s gathering is themed ‘Creative Bridge,’ a strategic call to link talent to trade and position Africa’s creative economy on the world stage.

ACM has fast become a continental force in shaping creative commerce across sectors, including film, fashion, music, technology, gaming, art, photography, dance, and sports.

“Creative Bridge is more than a theme; it’s a blueprint for Africa’s creative future,” the Convener of Africa Creative Market and President of Ascend Studios Foundation, Inya Lawal, said in a statement.

“This year, we are intentionally connecting the dots between creativity and commerce, ensuring our talent has access to the tools, funding, and networks they need to compete globally.”

Following the success of ACM 2024, which showcased how technology is reshaping creativity across the continent, ACM 2025 will go deeper, focusing on export readiness, data-driven growth, investment matchmaking, and cross-border partnerships.

From industry forums and investor roundtables to high-impact masterclasses and showcases, ACM 2025 promises a robust platform for creatives, cultural entrepreneurs, and policymakers.

This year’s edition is also expected to attract top international voices, buyers, and collaborators from across creative powerhouses such as the US, UK, UAE, Canada, and South Korea.

ACM’s goal is to empower Africa’s creators to become global players, not just content contributors. Organisers say this year’s platform will spotlight scalable African ideas, foster co-production deals, and champion intellectual property development that drives long-term growth.
