The Miss Ekimogun 2016 will be named on 26th December, 2016 by the organizers of the annual event 02 Entertainment.
The pageant which was scheduled to hold on the 2nd December, 2016 was called off due to the tensed political situation of Ondo State prior to the just concluded gubernatorial election.
In a statement made available to EkimogunMirror, Mr Idris Mamukuyomi noted that “the reason for giving honorary for the contestant is not farfetched from the fact that this event won’t hold again, and our international body needs a representative from Nigeria so it is better to make an honorary award/ crown to one of those who did well from the screening till the period postponement announcement”.
In the statement the organizers added that the procedure for the honorary will be transparent, as stakeholders, sponsors and supporters will be part of the process of choosing someone who will flag the country’s flag at 31st Miss Atlantic International Uruguay.
